We ensure all codfish is dried before it is cut and packaged for shipment. The codfish will naturally sweat and have a fishy smell from being closed in the packaging. Dried codfish should either be left out to dry; put in the refrigerator if you are planning to use it within a few days; or pre-soaked and frozen in ready to use portions.
